About my husband Matt  (written by Laura)

I feel very lucky to have found Matt.   He is a wonderful husband and is truly the kindest and most caring person that I know.  He is someone that I can confide in, trust and count on to always be there for me.  He is a very reliable person and always does what he says he's going to do. What I love about Matt is how important family is to him. Matt is a real family man, he's a good provider, a hardworker and always takes care of his family. I know that he will do the same for when a little one comes along. 

 

Matt is a very thoughtful person, who does many things to show me that he is thinking of me.  He's always helping me out around the house and the best part is that I don't even have to ask him, he just does it.  Matt is also very handy around the house and takes care of the upkeep of our home. 

 

Matt has a great sense of humor and is fun to be with.  He has a silly side and likes to do cute little things to make me laugh.

 

As Matt was growing up Matt's parents always would take him on a two week family vacation. They would pack up the car and take a road trip.  Together they have traveled to 46 states and have visited many wonderful places together. His parents always spent a lot of time outdoors and going to the parks.  Now as an adult, Matt loves to continue the tradition of going on vacation every year.  He still loves the outdoors and really enjoys going to the park.  Matt loves to go hiking and loves to take his kayake out on the river.  He also has a real love for photography and enjoys taking pictures everywhere we go. During his free time he enjoys reading and watching baseball games.

 

Matt was raised by two very loving parents, who were always there for him and his sister. They provided them with lots of love and support throughout the years. Matt is the type of person that will be very much involved in your child's life and will always be there for him or her.  Matt is really loves kids and cannot wait to become a father.  Matt is a real kid at heart, he is the type of person that will play with your child. I know that he's looking forward to making lego creations with them, playing games with them,  reading them bedtime stories, tucking them in at night and he looks forward to making snowmen and sandcastles with your child. Matt is a wonderful husband and a very caring person, I know in my heart that he will make a wonderful father and take very good care of your child.

About my wife Laura  (written by Matt)​

​Laura is the sweetest and kindest person that I know. She is a very thoughtful person and is always putting the needs of others first. She always goes out of her way to do sweet little things for me, that show me that she loves me.  She especially enjoys making my lunch and putting little love notes in my lunch.  I know that when we have a little one, she will do the same for them, when they go off to school.  She is a very loving and caring person that is not afraid to show her emotion. When we watch a movie with a touching scene,  you will often see her crying during the sentimental parts. That's when I go get her the whole box of tissues.

 

 

I love how she loves to bake. She likes to make her delicous chocolate chip cookies and I love sampling them.  She likes to experiment and make different goodies from her recipe book during the holidays. It's nice how she likes to cook a big breakfast on the weekends.  There's nothing like her chocolate chip pancakes with happy faces on top, which I know she will enjoy making for our little one, just to put a smile on their face.  She also makes a really awesome crepe, with real fruit and yummy English Cream on top.  She is really a great cook. The two of us came from a family where we sat and ate all of our meals together. Laura likes carrying on that family tradition and enjoys making home cooked meals everynight and eating together as a family.

Laura comes from a good family and shares a close relationship with them. Her parents were always very loving and supportive to her as she was growing up. She also had a very close relationship with her grandparents and aunt, who she spent a lot of time with as she was growing up.  She was raised to be a good person, was shown the importance of family and how to respect others. She loves to plan family get togethers to celebrate everyone's birthdays, holidays and Anniversaries.

 

Laura has a creative side to her. This runs in her family, since her mother was a fashion designer. Laura loves interior decorating and enjoys decorating our home. She also loves going to craft stores and picking out different crafting projects to work on.  I know this is something she is going to enjoy doing with our little one.

 

For the longest time Laura has wanted to become a mother and is very much looking forward to motherhood. Kids love Laura.  I see how she is with her little cousins and I know that she is going to make a wonderful mother.  When we go over to Laura's aunt and uncles house you will often find her coloring with her little cousin Sarah or playing a board game with her.  

 

She will truly cherish every moment that she spends as a mother.  She is thrilled to have the opportunity to be a stay at home mother and dedicate all of her time your child. She often talks about how much she looks forward to spending lots of quality time with the baby, this is why she plans on being a stay at home mother, so she can dedicate all of her time to your baby.  Laura is the type of person that will take the time to play with your child and will do things to entertain them, she we sing to them to comfort them.  She looks forward to being able to take them to the playground so they can make friends with other children, take them for walks in their stroller, read them bedtime stories and she looks forward to tucking  them in at night.  I know that there will be mornings where she will watch Sesame Street with your child. I know that Laura will be a very loving and attentive mother.  She is a very caring, loving person and I know that she will make an excellent mother.
